Using SQL and Python, I researched transactional data from across Union POS's 1,000+ venues to identify consumer trends in on-premise beverage alcohol. My focus is on primary research, analysis, and insights, but my work ranges from pitching article ideas and identifying key questions to editing and proofing final drafts before publication
About Matt Cory
I'm a beverage alcohol expert with over two decades of experience in B2B and B2C marketplaces, both online and traditional. I'm a cross-functional technologist focused on developing and executing sales, marketing, and product strategies with full stakeholder buy-in. I also have all the standard skills of a distributor owner, including being able to run a route, manage a warehouse, lead a sales team, and build a brand. I achieve rapid and continuous growth by leveraging the network effects inherent in multi-sided marketplaces. I have a PhD in Philosophy from Binghamton University.
